Have you been deactivated unfairly by Uber or Lyft?

You’re not the only one! Many drivers are deactivated unfairly, and The People’s Lobby is working to address this issue. Drivers have several options for how to fight deactivations.

First, attempt to go through the normal Uber/Lyft process…

Second, talk to a People’s Lobby organizer about joining with other drivers to push the company together - they are more likely to respond when they hear from a group of drivers than if they hear from you only as an individual.

Third, you can reach out to Lichten & Liss-Riordan, P.C., a law firm that is dedicated to supporting the rights of workers around the country through class action and individual litigation.

The firm has brought and won cases throughout the United States on behalf of workers who have been deprived of their wages, tips, and overtime, or who have suffered discrimination or retaliation. They are currently helping drivers who have been deactivated with no due process to go through the Uber or Lyft arbitration process to try to get reactivated.

We do not guarantee any outcomes from this process - we are sharing this option so drivers can be aware of this possibility and can decide what you want to do.
